# Counts

> Read public source and market totals.

Use this summary when you need a public coverage count rather than individual catalog rows.

## Request

## Access and behavior

`sources` is the global public source count, `markets` is the global public market count, and `by_source` maps each source ID to its public market count. This endpoint has no query parameters or pagination.

## Errors

The OpenAPI contract lists `503`, `429`. Error responses use `error.code`, `error.message`, and `error.resolution`. Follow `Retry-After` after `429`.
